Stirling Enterprises has been extremely successful in attracting quality companies to Ocean Ranch. Biogen Idec, a global leader in developing pharmaceutical therapies, is currently building a 500,000- square-foot manufacturing center in Ocean Ranch. Biogen Idec develops treatments for cancer, multiple sclerosis and other diseases, and its $400 million facility will cover 60 acres when complete. Ocean Ranch is also home to a regional Coca Cola facility, golf apparel manufacturer Ashworth, OneSource Distributors and several others. These companies and the projected development will create more than 4,100 jobs for the local economy.
